Today is my first day teaching in the school since the previous two days I was just observing. The teacher did not ask me to teach in the first class. I start in the second lesson of the day. It was in first grade. I had to sing and reviewed the topic of the day before. I like that they are active, and you do not have to beg for attention.
In one of the class of second grade a kid started to cry really loud. We did not know why he was crying. What happened was that he broke his cell phone and he was scared because of his father reaction. The kid did not stop crying and even though we tried to comfort him, he was not calm. This situation was difficult for me because solve situations like this one, was not teach in a class at university.
At the end of the day I think my first day teaching in this school went pretty good.
